August 29: Skate Movie Night: Airborne
Join us for Skate Movie Night on Saturday, August 29!
This month's film is Airborne, a 1993 comedy-drama about inline skating. It stars Shane McDermott, Seth Green, Britney Powell, and a young Jack Black, in a story about a teen who moves from sunny California to icy Ohio, where his laidback inline skate lifestyle clashes with Midwest culture, especially with the local team of hockey players.
Watch the film trailer on YouTube!
We will screen the movie at the skate shop on Saturday, August 29, from 6:30pm-8:30pm. It's free and open to all ages. The film is rated PG.
Complimentary popcorn and bottled water will be available; BYO snacks. There will be two benches to sit on, and an area rug up front to lay on if you prefer. You can also bring your own comfy chair. Space is limited; come early to reserve your spot.
Future films and shows will range from lighthearted fantasies to serious documentaries, all with a connection to skating. We hope that you can join us!
Message us at 415-758-0844 or DM us on Instagram or Facebook @rollerskateoahu for details, or to let us know what movies or shows you want to see!
